The Hard Things Club

Mon, Aug 17

|

232 Martins Creek Rd

Online or IRL, come body double the hard stuff and stop letting stuck be background dread. Bring The List and join others who know the only way through is together. We work in silence, share treats, and anchor each task to why it matters. We'll pause for upliftment and celebrate the wins at the end

You have a List. Not the grocery list, not the nice tidy one with the satisfying checkboxes. The other one. The email that needs actual thought, the form, the call, the thing you keep meaning to do that carries just enough charge to make you open Instagram instead. That List.

Here's what we know about that List: it is not a willpower problem. It's an alone-in-a-room-with-no-witnesses problem. The same task that costs you three days of low-grade dread dissolves in forty minutes when another human is sitting nearby doing their own hard thing. That's body doubling, and it works with a reliability that should embarrass every productivity app ever sold to you as a solo sport.

So we made a room for it. Three hours, every Monday morning, in the forest studio…

Who we Are

The Greening is a living network, a model for building real community through conscious play and inner coherence.  Not another online thing that makes you feel temporarily connected while you sit alone.  This is a think you do with your actual hands, voice, and whole emerging self.

It's been running for 15 years.  Hurricane Helene was the stress test.  The communities didn't just hold, they got stronger.  We're currently focusing on building the relational infrastructure which makes everything else possible.

Let's remember, together, that we already know how to do this.
