this is a living trail, not a finished map
The Greening is a living network for people making the crossing — building real community through conscious play and inner coherence, in actual places, with actual humans. You found it. Or it found you. Either way, welcome.
Guilds are buoys
Every living system needs tending. Guilds are the small, devoted clusters of people who hold specific functions of the network with care and consistency, not because they were assigned to, but because something in them recognized the work as theirs.
A guild is not a committee. It's more like a mycelial thread, quiet, specific, load-bearing, routing what's needed to wherever it's needed most. Each one holds a cornerstone: Ethics and Containers, Volunteer Crew, Communication and Story, Events and Gatherings. Together they are the root system that keeps the outer work from becoming rootless enthusiasm that burns bright and disappears.
You don't need to be finished or fully formed to join one. You need to be in motion, genuinely interested in the specific work a guild does, and willing to show up consistently. The guilds are where the personal greening and the collective work meet most directly, because holding something real for others has a way of revealing exactly what's still in your shoe.
If something here is calling you, trust that. The network knows what it needs and so do you.

Guilds are the small, focused heartbeats of our network—dedicated soul clusters where individual genius can emerge and be amplified. Each Guild holds a cornerstone of our community life, such as Ethics, Communication, or Volunteering. Think of them as the buoys to our raft: they provide the stability and direction that keep our local network afloat. Using Appreciative Inquiry, power is decentralized, allowing collective wisdom to rise from the group. These are spaces where passions meet purpose, incorporating apprenticeships to ensure that specific wisdom and skills are passed down to the next generation through shared ritual
Attend Events: Participate in free, screen-free gatherings designed to trigger "flow" & synch nervous systems via shared joy
Join a Guild: Step into one of four sacred roles, acting as the "buoys" that maintain the network’s stability
Contribute Wisdom: Share your insights & passion by offering events that build local coherence
